CRICOS


Windsor Institute of Commerce
and all its courses are listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS, see
http://cricos.detya.gov.au/asp/InstitutionDetails.asp?PVID=1681).


The ESOS Act requires providers of courses to international students to register their institution and the courses they offer with DETYA. The State Office of Higher Education (OHE) and the Education Minister approve registration before a code is allocated and the details recorded on the CRICOS register. Providers and their agents must not promote a course to overseas students unless it is registered on CRICOS.

 

RTO


Registered training organisations (RTOs), of which Queens Institute is also a member, meet nationally recognised standards of quality and deliver nationally recognised training. These standards are set out under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

ACPET


The Australian Council for Private Education and Training is the national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and International students, including English language courses, higher education, vocational education and training, (www.acpet.edu.au).

ACS


The Australian Computer Society (ACS, www.acs.org.au) is the recognized association for Information & Communication Technology (ICT) professional, attracting a large and active membership of over 16,000 from all levels of the ICT industry. A member of the Australian Council of Professions, the ACS is the public voice of the ICT profession and the guardian of professional ethics and standards in the ICT industry, with a commitment to the wider community to ensure the beneficial use of ICT.

AIM


As Australia's largest professional body for managers, the Australian Institute of Management (AIM, www.aim.com.au) facilitates management and leadership excellence by promoting, supporting and developing the profession of management in all its forms. Nationally, AIM Membership stands at approximately 35,000 - of these, 25,000 are personal members and there are over 6,000 key corporate members. AIM also draws upon a further facilitator and consultancy pool of 350. In each Australian State and Territory, AIM Divisions provide an essential contact point. While offering many national services, they also offer a range of training and special events that tap into trends and issues relevant to the local environment and business community.
